The Grandfather Whisky of our collection. This is an astonishingly complex and multi-layered whisky. Comparable 50 year old malts can retail for in excess of £5,000.

Tasting Notes
Nose: A fruit-fest on the nose. Predominantly Raisins and Grapes, but a secondary nose of intense freshly squeezed Orange Juice!
Palate: Very smooth, but extraordinarily complex. Freshness that belies its age. Fruit quickly clears to make way for the Vanilla-cut oak. Sherry follows on, interlaced with plenty of subtle malted barley.
Finish: Unrefined Brown Sugar digs in with the Barley to see off the encroaching oak. Delicate wafts of peat caress the palate for minutes afterwards.
